The Hilly Hellacious route is a picturesque ride through the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The metric century,100 km (60 miles) includes roughly 5700 feet of elevation gain throughout the length of the ride. The route will take you thru some amazing scenery of the mountains and the forest. On your journey you will also go past the famous Bat Cave.

The Century, 100 miles includes roughly 9000 feet of elevation gain throughout the length of the ride. The loop is mostly the same as 100k metric century, with the addition of riding past Chimney Rock. A large portion of the loop is around the beautiful Lake Lure. Expect to see some great scenery of the tranquil lake surrounded by the dense green forest. You never know the leaves might even see some color changes early. After the tranquil waters of Lake Lure you will then climb out of the valley to reconnect with the 100k loop.

Both courses offer some great views, hills, and are challenging courses.
